Who's Amung Us

Chuck (TV Premiere 2007)

I thought that we should finally do a reveiw on some television shows.  I thought that I would start with a show that has captured my fancy.  "Chuck" this is my favorite show as of this moment..., a must see for everybody.

This show (in the first two seasons) creates a "computer whiz next door" fell to it that captured me as I started to watch this action/comedy Television show.  Here is my reveiw of "Chuck".

Premise:
The show, created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak, is about a computer whiz next door who got kicked out of Stanford University and now is e-mailed by his ex-roomate (Bryce Larkin). Bryce now works for the CIA and is "not an accountant". Bryce sends Chuck an e-mail with all of the countries secrets called the intersect.  The show is about an ordinary person caught in the life of a spy.  In the first season, it is all about Chuck learning that he needed to trust his "handlers".  In the second season, it is all about Chuck leraning to work as a team, until the end of the season when Chuck learns Kung Fu.  The third Season is about Chuck learning how to be a spy.

Character interaction:
The characters created for this show are an amazing group of actors doing roles perfectly. You have Chuck and Morgan, best friends, who know almost everything about each others lives accompanied with Sarah, who is posing as Chuck's girlfriend, and John Casey, who are spies and don't trust anybody, but "have to" take Chuck on their missions. Elle, Chuck's Sister, and Captain Awesome, who is Elle's boyfriend/fiance/husband.  And you have the rest of the Buymore staff, which is where Chuck works as a day job.  Everybody in this show does an amazing job making their characters work and work well.  A must see for this reason alone.

Personal Reveiw:
This show although a little monotenous in the second season but got interesting at the end when Chuck starts to know Kung Fu.  The show has done what I like to call "a Chuck", which is changing the dynamics of the show entirely and  still keeping their fan base and keeping them entertained. For instance, at the end of the second season, when they showed Chuck that he could do Kung Fu, he became the best spy of them all, and changed the dynamics of the show.  The fact that they did this once and made it work was amazing, but at the end of season three, they attempted to do the same thing again, we will have to wait until September to see if it worked, but this show is definitely a must see.  The worst part about this show are it's commercials, so if you can't get it on Television, then buy the DVDs and have the best time you have had watching TV in a while....
